About

I'm a London-based developer at New Genre, working across the whole stack, from the bits people click on to the plumbing they never see. TypeScript, React and Next.js do most of the heavy lifting. I like to take an idea from rough sketch to live in production myself, rather than passing it along at the awkward middle stage.

I can't leave things alone. If a hover state feels a beat too slow, I'll fix it at midnight, and I usually have a couple of half-finished experiments open in another tab. This site started as one of them.

For me the best work sits where polish meets momentum: sweat the details, but still get it out the door.

I'm always up for the right project. If you've got something worth building well, drop me a line or reach out to New Genre.

Off the clock I'm usually listening to records, watching films and anime, or stuck in a game. I keep a running list on my favourites page.

And if you're wondering where I land on the whole AI thing, here's my take.

A quiet Soho side street with a chippy at the end
A laptop beside a notebook of rough sketches
A busy bar on a night out
Feet up on the grass in the park
